J. Howard Ragsdale, Jr., CFA

Founder & Chief Executive Officer Howard is the founder and chief executive officer of Prove and has more than 35 years of experience in investment management. His work spans more than $5 billion in investment portfolios for large state and city pension funds, banks, insurance companies, corporations, professional sports organizations and a global telecommunications corporation. In addition to institutions, Howard has managed investment portfolios for high net worth individuals. Howard received his bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Tennessee and his MBA in Finance from Vanderbilt University’s Owen School of Management. He has been a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) for over 20 years.

Drew Fraser

Director, Retirement Plan Services Drew is the director of retirement plan services at Prove, and provides fiduciary analysis and benchmark consulting services to clients. He previously managed an individual financial planning practice at Northwestern Mutual. Drew received his master’s degree in ancient history and classics from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. He lives in Franklin, TN with his wife Julia.

Ruth Ford, CPA

Chief Compliance Officer Ruth is the chief compliance officer at Prove, and served as the CFO and CCO of Aston Capital Management, Inc. from 2001-2018. She began her career with Ernst & Young and has been a CPA for 40 years. Ruth received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Middle Tennessee State University.
